Do I need a separate inverter?
No. The GB-SL is an all-in-one — the GB-S hybrid inverter is part of the tower and ships with it, from 5 kW up to 20 kW three-phase. The published weight and height include it: the 8.18 kWh tower is 1,100 mm and 137 kg, the 24.54 kWh tower is 1,980 mm and 293 kg.
How much storage can it hold?
Two to six GB-LM4.0 modules stack in series, each 4.09 kWh, giving 8.18, 12.27, 16.36, 20.45 or 24.54 kWh. The modules connect in series without cables, and each extra module adds 220 mm and 39 kg.
