The DGA1-DC48V-09K is the entry point to Deye's battery-fed air conditioners, and the one that suits a small bedroom, a site cabin or a guard room of 8 to 12 m². There is no mains connection to make: the unit lives on a 48 V battery bank and works anywhere between 46 and 58 V DC, so it cools through the night on whatever the day's charging put away. It is also the most frugal of the four, taking 680 W at T1 to deliver 2,600 W of cooling, an EER of 3.90/13.20, and modulating down to 180 W when the room is already cold. In T3 heat it holds 8,500 BTU. Heating is rated 9,900 BTU at a COP of 3.50/11.90. A single GMCC ASK89D53UEZ rotary variable-speed compressor and a one-row coil keep the outdoor unit to 28 kg, and the indoor side runs under 40 dB, the quietest figure in the range.

An application area of 8 to 12 m², the smallest in the DC48V line. From 12 m² upward the 12,000 BTU DGA1-DC48V-12K is the right size.
It draws from the battery bank at all hours, so night cooling depends on stored capacity rather than on sunlight. At T1 the compressor asks for 680 W, dropping toward 180 W at part load.
The unit is rated for T1 and T3 climates and works from -10 to 58 °C. Under T3 it gives 2,490 W, or 8,500 BTU, for 960 W of input, an EER of 2.60/8.90.
Up to 15 m of pipe with a maximum level difference of 8 m, on 3/8 in gas and 1/4 in liquid lines. Three metres of pipe and 4 m of connection wire are in the box, and the pair weighs 28 kg net.
