  • Three to six panel string

    The 80-380 V DC input takes three to six 330 W modules in series, so the array can be sized to the roof rather than to a fixed count.

  • 17,300 BTU across 20-30 m²

    5,070 W of cooling at T1 for 1,400 W drawn, an EER of 3.60/12.35, with output tracking the load between 4,100 and 20,400 BTU.

  • 20,800 BTU of heat in winter

    The reverse cycle is rated 6,100 W at a COP of 3.45/11.75, enough for the same 20-30 m² room it cools in summer.

  • 20 m of pipe reach

    The outdoor unit can sit up to 20 m away with 10 m of level difference, on 1/2 in gas and 1/4 in liquid lines. Four metres of pipe and 5 m of wire are supplied.

  • 980 m³/h, under 46 dB

    A BLDC 45 W indoor fan gives four airflow steps from 620 to 980 m³/h while the room side stays below 46 dB.

About the Deye 17,300 BTU Solar Air Conditioner DGA1-ACDCBLW-18K

Rated at 17,300 BTU, the DGA1-ACDCBLW-18K is the middle unit of the ACDCBLW line and the one most families end up with: it is rated for 20 to 30 m², the size of a living room, a majlis or a two-desk office. Three to six 330 W modules in series supply its 80-380 V DC input, and the 208-240 V single-phase side backs the array up when cloud or evening takes it away. At T1 it delivers 5,070 W for 1,400 W of input, an EER of 3.60/12.35; in T3 heat the output settles at 14,700 BTU. Winter is covered by 20,800 BTU of heating at a COP of 3.45/11.75, and the coil pulls out 1.7 L/h of water. The indoor unit measures 1,080 x 330 x 237 mm, moves up to 980 m³/h on a BLDC 45 W motor and stays under 46 dB. Pipe runs may reach 20 m with a 10 m level difference. It is rated for 20 to 30 m², which is a typical living room or majlis. Smaller rooms are better served by the 12,000 BTU DGA2-ACDCBLW-12K, and above 30 m² by the 22,000 BTU DGA1-ACDCBLW-24K.

How big a PV array does the DGA1-ACDCBLW-18K want?
