About the Deye 2.56 kWh 12.8 V Lithium Solar Battery WD-G12200

When a 12 V design outgrows 100 Ah, the Deye WD-G12200 doubles everything that matters: 200 Ah of capacity (2.56 kWh), a 2P4S prismatic LiFePO4 pack, 200 A of continuous charge and discharge and a 300 A peak for demanding surges. It stays manageable at 21 kg and 471 x 348 x 160 mm, mounting on the floor or in a stack. System building mirrors its smaller sibling: four units in series create a 51.2 V nominal bank, ten in parallel multiply capacity, and RS485 carries communication while an LED shows state of charge. The recommended depth of discharge is 80% against a cycle rating beyond 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity, across an 11.2-14.6 V operating window. Deye specifies discharge from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius, storage at 0-35, humidity to 95% and altitude below 2,000 m, with UN38.3 certification and an MSDS published for transport and handling. We are an authorised Deye distributor and supply the WD-G12200 from our own stock, with technical support before and after the sale.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much energy does the WD-G12200 store?

2.56 kWh - 200 Ah at 12.8 V nominal, within an 11.2-14.6 V operating window.

What surge current can the WD-G12200 supply?

A 300 A peak, above its 200 A continuous rating in both directions.

Can WD-G12200 units form a 48 V-class system?

Yes - four in series produce a 51.2 V nominal bank, and up to ten units may be paralleled for capacity.

What separates the WD-G12200 from the WD-G12100?

Capacity and current: 200 Ah and 2.56 kWh versus 100 Ah and 1.28 kWh, with 200 A continuous and 300 A peak versus 100 A and 200 A; the larger pack weighs 21 kg instead of 11 kg.

How should the WD-G12200 be stored and sited?

Indoors on a floor or in a stack, stored at 0-35 degrees Celsius, at up to 95% humidity and below 2,000 m altitude.
