About the Deye 8 kW Single-Phase Hybrid Solar Inverter SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU

The Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU is an 8 kW single-phase hybrid inverter in the SG05LP1 family, with a rated AC output active power of 8000 W. It ties to an L+N+PE supply at 220/230 V, carries 36.4 A or 34.8 A of rated output current, peaks at 8800 VA and can hold double its rated power for 10 seconds when a compressor or a pump starts. A 50 A continuous AC pass-through and parallel operation of up to 16 units let a workshop grow without replacing the first inverter. On the DC side two MPPTs take 2+2 strings and 12800 W of PV input at up to 500 V, tracked across 150-425 V from a 125 V start. Lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries between 40 and 60 V charge at up to 190 A. The IP65 enclosure weighs 24.9 kg, measures 330 x 580 x 232 mm and comes with a stated 5-year warranty.
