About the Deye 80 kW Three-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-80K-G04P3-EU-AM4 in the UAE

The Deye SUN-80K-G04P3-EU-AM4 is an 80 kW three-phase string inverter, the top of the G04P3 range, connecting 3L+N+PE to a 220/380 or 230/400 V distribution board. Rated AC output active power is 80 kW; apparent power reaches 88 kVA and rated output current is 121.2/115.9 A, with 133.3/127.5 A available at the maximum. Its DC side is the distinguishing part: four MPPTs, strings in a 4+4+4+4 layout, up to 120 kW of PV input power, which is DC input and not AC output, a 1100 V maximum PV voltage and 60+60+60+60 A of short-circuit capability, so full-size bifacial modules can be strung without splitting the array. Peak efficiency is 98.7% and the European figure is 98.1%. Commissioning uses the LCD 240 x 160 screen with RS485, RS232, Wi-Fi or LAN. The 698 x 613 x 236.5 mm IP65 cabinet weighs 53.7 kg, stays under 55 dB and has a stated 5-year warranty.
