About the Deye 2.7 kW Single-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-2.7K-G04P1-EU-AM1 in Bahrain

The Deye SUN-2.7K-G04P1-EU-AM1 is a 2.7 kW single-phase string inverter (L+N+PE) built on the G04P1 platform. It needs 80 V at the DC terminals to start, and then follows the array anywhere from 70 V to 500 V on its one MPPT. Power quality is where this class earns its keep: total harmonic distortion of current stays below 3%, DC injection is under 0.5% of rated current, and the power factor is adjustable from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging, so the unit can help hold voltage on a weak rural feeder instead of tripping off it. Rated AC output active power is 2700 W, or 2970 VA apparent, at 220/230 V and 12.3 A. Up to 3500 W of PV connects to the single string input, which suits a family apartment running an inverter air conditioner through the afternoon. The SUN-2.7K-G04P1-EU-AM1 has an IP65, fanless enclosure and a stated 5-year warranty.
