About the Deye 4 kW Single-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-4K-G04 in Bahrain

Two independent MPP trackers, one string each, are what make the Deye SUN-4K-G04 useful on a broken roof: a 70-500 V tracking window and an 80 V startup voltage let a short string on an east face begin producing well before the main array does. The unit is a 4 kW single-phase G04 string inverter with a rated AC output of 4000 W, 18.2 A at 220 V and 4.4 kVA apparent, wired L+N+PE. Up to 5.2 kW of modules and 550 V may be connected, at 13 A per tracker, which covers a small home or a farm pump shed. Monitoring runs over RS485 and RS232 with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPRS or optional LAN. Peak efficiency is 97.5% and European efficiency 97.0%. The 8 kg IP65 unit is naturally cooled under 35 dB, works to 65 °C, and carries a stated 5-year warranty.
