About the Deye 10 kW Single-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-10K-G02P1-EU-AM2 in Oman

A single-phase grid-tied string inverter, the Deye SUN-10K-G02P1-EU-AM2 belongs to the String (G) series and connects L+N+PE at 220 or 230 V. It is rated at 10 kW of AC output active power with 11 kVA apparent, 45.5 A of rated current at 220 V and a maximum output current of 50 A, a size chosen for a large villa, a small hotel or a farm building that exports its surplus to the grid. Up to 15 kW of maximum PV input power may be connected, which is DC oversizing rather than extra AC output: two MPPT trackers take two strings apiece at 26 A each, across a 70-500 V tracking range that begins at 80 V and accepts 550 V open circuit. Efficiency peaks at 97.7% with 97.2% European efficiency, and the fanless IP65 body weighs 14.8 kg and installs to 3000 m. The 10 kW unit carries a stated warranty of 5 years.
