About the Deye 5 kW Single-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-5K-G05P1-EU-AM2 in Oman

The Deye SUN-5K-G05P1-EU-AM2 is a 5 kW single-phase string inverter, the size most often specified for a four-bedroom home or a small clinic running daytime air conditioning. Data comes out over RS485 or RS232, and the monitoring port takes an optional GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G or LAN adaptor, so a site with no fixed internet can still be watched remotely. Its rated AC output is 5 kW at 220 or 230 V, with 5.5 kVA of apparent power, a rated current of 22.8 A and a 25 A maximum. The array side holds up to 7.5 kW of modules on two MPPT trackers, one string each, working from 70 to 500 V below a 550 V ceiling. The cabinet measures 305 x 280 x 180 mm and weighs 7.7 kg, small enough for a crowded meter cupboard, and the stated warranty runs to 5 years.
