About the Deye 4.2 kW Single-Phase String Solar Inverter SUN-4.2K-G05P1-EU-AM2 in Saudi Arabia

The Deye SUN-4.2K-G05P1-EU-AM2 is a 4.2 kW single-phase string inverter in the String (G) line, a half-step above the 4 kW frame for homes whose consumption has outgrown it. Its two MPPT inputs are rated at 18 A of operating current each and withstand 27 A of short-circuit current per input, which means most modern high-current modules can be strung without derating the tracker. Up to 6.3 kW of PV can be connected under a 550 V ceiling, tracked between 70 and 500 V from an 80 V startup. Rated AC output is 4.2 kW at 220 or 230 V on an L+N+PE connection, with 4.62 kVA of apparent power and a maximum output current of 21 A. Reverse-polarity protection, insulation impedance detection and a built-in DC switch cover the array side. Weighing 7.7 kg in an IP65 case, the inverter carries a stated 5-year warranty.
