About the Deye 5 kW Single-Phase Hybrid Solar Inverter SUN-5K-SG04LP1-EU in the UAE
The Deye SUN-5K-SG04LP1-EU is a single-phase hybrid inverter rated at 5000 W of AC output active power, the usual choice for a villa or a small guesthouse that wants solar by day and battery backup after dark. It mounts like its smaller siblings, at 330 x 433 x 228 mm and 17 kg, IP65, naturally cooled and under 30 dB, so one installer lifts it onto the wall and no fan filter has to be cleaned later. What changes is the DC side: two MPPT trackers, one string each, take 8 kW of PV input from an array of up to 10 kW, at 13 A per tracker and a 500 V ceiling, which lets east and west roof faces be split without buying a second inverter. AC output reaches 5.5 kVA and 22.7 A with 40 A of passthrough, and the 40-60 V battery runs at 120 A. Cover on that 120 A port and on the rest of the unit is a stated 10 years.
