What it means

DC insulation impedance permanent fault — The insulation impedance between the DC (PV) side and ground is permanently below the protection limit.

Cause: A defective or missing inverter ground connection, or degraded DC-side insulation, keeps the measured insulation impedance to ground below the limit.

DC insulation impedance permanent fault — Insulation resistance between the PV array (DC side) and ground is permanently below the protection limit.

Cause: A poor or broken protective-earth connection, or degraded PV/DC wiring insulation, keeps the PV-to-ground insulation impedance below the limit.

Cell under voltage — A battery cell voltage has fallen below the BMS under-voltage protection threshold; discharging is stopped to protect the cell.

Cause: A cell voltage fell below the under-voltage protection limit - over-discharge under load, or self-discharge during long storage without recharging.

How to fix it

  1. Stop discharging and recharge the battery promptly from PV or grid.
  2. If the battery no longer wakes up or the code persists after charging, contact Deye support.

GB-A HV Battery

ALARM_ID_SUM_LOW_VOLT_LEV_2 — Total battery (pack) voltage too low - level-2 protection.

Cause: The pack was over-discharged below the level-2 under-voltage limit - sustained discharge without recharging, or long storage self-discharge.

How to fix it

  1. Stop discharging and recharge the battery promptly from PV or grid.
  2. If it will not recover, contact Deye support.
