What it means

DC insulation impedance failureThe PV-array-to-ground insulation impedance is too low.

Cause: The insulation impedance between the PV array and ground is too low: often a PV panel problem, poor grounding of the PV panel frames or of the inverter, or an AC/DC cable or terminal block shorted to ground or with damaged insulation.

How to fix it

  1. Check the Vpe resistance on the main board and its detection on the control board, and check that the PV panels are OK - many times this issue is a PV problem
  2. Check that the PV panel aluminium frames and the inverter are grounded well; open the inverter cover and check that the inside ground cable is fixed well on the shell
  3. Check whether an AC/DC cable or terminal block is shorted to ground or has damaged insulation
  4. Restart the inverter; if the fault still exists, contact your installer or Deye service.

  2. Restart the inverter; if the fault still exists, contact your installer or Deye service.
