Cause: Cell imbalance from long storage, aging, or repeated partial cycling widened the voltage gap between the highest and lowest cell beyond the threshold.

How to fix it

  1. Charge the battery fully at low current and hold it there so the BMS can balance the cells.
  2. If the difference does not close after several full charges, contact Deye support.
