What it means

Mosfet short circuit — The BMS detected that its main MOSFET switch has failed short.

Cause: An internal hardware failure - often following a severe over-current event - left the main MOSFET permanently conducting, so the BMS can no longer disconnect the pack.

How to fix it

  1. Switch the battery off and take it out of service; the pack can no longer be disconnected reliably.
  2. Contact Deye support.
